Florian Froschmayer

Florian is a tv and film director, writer, and photographer. He lives in Los Angeles and has a housing option in Berlin.

As a director, he has done close to 50 episodes of primetime series, 19 TV movies, and two feature films. Florian has about 900 shooting days on his clock, which has created over 3500 minutes of primetime television. He worked in Germany, the US, Mexico, China, Prague, Portugal, Holland, Italy, Austria, and his country of origin, Switzerland.

Florian has written both his big-screen feature films. He has been a writer or co-writer on several TV movies and has often (without credit) done revisions or rewrites of scripts he directed. Florian is constantly developing content for him to direct. Currently, he has a series and two feature films on his desk ready to shoot.

Florian is a passionate photographer and takes most of the stills photos from his films.

His photographic work includes street photography, architecture, travel photography, nature, and portraits. He has exhibited his work several times in Germany and Switzerland.

In 2020 Florian released the first Season of his Podcast, ‘I found an excuse to meet…’, a series of conversations with professionals from the movie business.

Florian is the inventor and distributor of the movie production software SCRIPTtoMOVIE.
