Ischta Lehmann

Ischta Lehmann was born in Hamburg and lives in Munich. She studied German and theatre studies and worked as a freelance journalist for many years.

She has written for magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Jolie, Freundin, and Brigitte. Newspapers like Welt am Sonntag and Süddeutsche Zeitung were part of her regular repertoire and she also contributed to websites like prosieben.de and sat1.de.

Her professional reorientation began with further education in screenwriting as part of the Screenwriting Workshop at the HFF Munich. She now writes for series such as Die Chefin, SOKO Potsdam, and Notruf Hafenkante, and develops her own film and series ideas.

Once a month, she publishes her German-English Newsletter “10 Dinge/10 Things”, featuring movie, TV, and book recommendations as well as updates on her work.
