Born in Berlin, Frank Conrad discovered his interest in film, television and entertainment media at an early age. After studying directing at the Kaskeline Film Academy, he completed a degree in ‘Scenic Writing’ at the Berlin University of the Arts.
Conrad is an experienced writer in the TV and comedy industry. He has been involved in a number of comedy formats, late-night shows and sitcoms, including ‘Die Martina Hill Show’, ‘Switch Reloaded’, ‘Was guckst du?’, ‘Rabenmütter’, ‘Weibsbilder’ and ‘Knallerfrauen’. He has been nominated for the ‘German Comedy Award’ and the ‘German Television Award’ for his work.
His work as a screenwriter also extended to soaps and telenovelas such as ‘Verbotene Liebe’, ‘Eine wie Keine’, ‘Anna und die Liebe’, ‘Mila’ and ‘Alles oder Nichts’. As a versatile artist, he has also left his mark in theatre and radio plays and has been involved in web and cartoon series. He has also written, directed and produced his own short films, which have been shown and won awards at various film festivals.
In recent years, he has increasingly focused on developing his own projects, which are characterised by innovative storytelling, fast-paced dialogue and a penchant for humorous moments in dramatic stories. His most recent projects include the development of the series format ‘My Serial Lover’ and work on the series format ‘House of Wonders’. He lives and works in Berlin.
